My Story

For years, I believed gambling was my biggest problem.Recovery taught me something much deeper.Gambling wasn't the problem.It was how I escaped life.Since beginning my recovery journey in December 2013, I've discovered that healing isn't simply about stopping unhealthy behaviors—it's about creating a life worth showing up for every day.Today, I work with individuals and families affected by gambling addiction, helping them rebuild trust, purpose, and hope while developing practical tools for long-term recovery.Participation Over Escape is more than the title of my book.It's the philosophy that now guides my life.
